Know Jesus

The plan for any church lays the foundation as to how they will grow and interact with the world around them. It is in our plan that we find direction and understanding as to how God wishes us to reach out to the world. Our plan flows from our passions.

Our plan begins with the desire to know God. We wish to first lean who God is and how He has revealed himself in Jesus Christ. We desire to know Christ as Paul Said, "For I determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified." 1 Corinthians 2:2(NASB)
We wish to, in everything we do, bring glory to God. We do this in our weekly services ranging from Sunday Morning where we have both Sunday School and Worship Service to Wednesday night where we are reading through the Bible to have a greater understanding of the truth God has given us.

The next step stems from our passion to make God known. We wish to reach out to the world in which God has placed us. Jesus said, "you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth." Acts 1:8B(NASB) This gives us the way in which we shall reach the world. First we desire to reach out to those around us. We do this by ministries that God has brought forth through our church. We also wish to reach those in the region we live. This is accomplished in and through our connection to both the North Arkansas Baptist Assocation and Arkansas Bapstist State Convention. We aslo reach the world through mission trips that our local assocation sponcers and the Cooperative Program with the Southern Baptist Convention, which reaches both the world through the International Mission Board and North American's through the North American Mission Board.

We also wish to know one another. The one thing this country needs is a since of community. We wish to know each other so that we can then help each other. We do this through our interaction on Sunday and Wednesday. But more than that we grow closer together during our times of fellowship, ether in our meal times or on Friday Nights where we have a meal and then play games the rest of the night. Now this we believe is probably one of the most important things we can do for it creates in us a love for one another. And we must emulate the truth Jesus told us when he said, "By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another." John 13:35(NASB)
